Outside support can be incredibly helpful when you have a child with additional needs and there is lots of help and support available.
Neurodivergence Support
National Autistic Society
The National Autistic Society help the 700,000 autistic people in the UK and their families. Be it running specialist schools, campaigning for improved rights or training companies on being more autism-friendly, we are dedicated to transforming lives and changing attitudes.
The Lincolnshire Autistic Society
Lincolnshire Autistic Society – Working In Partnership to Raise Awareness of Autisum
The Society provides information, advice and support for adults, young people and children with ASD and signposts people towards other organisations and local support groups which can offer relevant expertise and advice.

ADHD Lincs is a registered charity which provides support and information to families and individuals who are living with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and associated learning differences.
The Working Together Team (WTT)
The Working Together Team is a National Autistic Society Beacon Status Accredited Service. We advocate best practice and provide specialist support to empower mainstream settings to ensure autistic children & young people thrive through collaborative work with families and professionals.
Parental Support
Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum
LPCF is specifically tasked with working alongside the Local Authority and Health to help ensure that the services they plan, commission, deliver and monitor meet the needs of children with Disabilities and Special Educational Needs. They also provide fanastic workshops and sessions for parents on areas such as – sleep, toileting, behaviour and much more
Mental Health Support
Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation – self referral service

A referral means "to send someone to a medical specialist for advice or treatment." In healthcare this is usually done by a GP. In Lincolnshire, you can 'self-refer' to children and young people’s (CYP) services. These services include CAMHS, Healthy Minds Lincolnshire and Mental Health Support Teams. This means that if you are struggling with your emotional or mental health, you can self-refer directly to our services, without going to your school or GP.

Please note the Here4You line is open for self-referrals between the hours of 9:00am-4.30pm- excluding bank holidays

Shout is a free, 24/7 text messaging mental health support service for anyone who is struggling to cope.

Speech and Language Therapy
Speech and language therapists work in partnership with you and your child, as well as any other professional involved in their care, to enable them to reach communication potential. Our goal is to work closely with your family and educational staff so you understand your child’s needs, empowering you to be able to support and enable you and your child to achieve their best.

The service is an outpatient service and we see children with problems relevant to community paediatrics including the following:
- Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
- Autistic spectrum disorder
- Developmental delay
- Cerebral palsy
The Children’s Continence Service

This service is for children with bladder and bowel conditions.
It is aimed at children between the ages of:
- six months to 19 years for constipation and bowel issues
- from three and a half years for day time wetting
- from five years for night time wetting

The Sleep Charity
