The girls began the day in a tough group facing Doncaster, Grimsby, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Harrogate and Sheffield United. The girls built into the tournament and started to put in some amazing performances.  The togetherness, grit and determination of every single one of the girls was the key to their success, with them coming out of the group stage not conceding a goal and not losing a game.  This resulted in them finishing second in the group and into the quarter-finals, where they faced Hull City.  With an equaliser coming from Boston in the dying moments, the girls came out victorious in the penalty shoot-out (5-4).  The semi-final was against Rotherham, which ended 0-0, so it was down to penalties again, which saw Boston seal the win once again from the spot (3-2).  The final was against Leeds.  The game was end-to-end but saw Boston coming out on top, winning 1-0.  

It was such a great achievement from these players.  They will now represent Boston United in the PLPS National Final at Leeds United's Elland Road
